You left before we had a chance to talk - sped off like the proverbial Fast Car!

Just remember - tomorrow is another day!

I rang in my thirtieth with great ferver last night. Sat at a McDonalds around the corner from my flat, while nick sat at home reading 'On the road', god bless him...
I was, at that moment [and have been] reading, all this week leading up to this momentous, yet meaningless, occasion, the perfect book for me right now. It's confirmed everything I've come to believe.
My life has come to the point where I just want to buy the drugs and not do them. I want to order take out consisting of items that I already have in the fridge and not eat any of it. I want to drive to the beach and stay in the car. I want to see the view, but I don't want to be an active participant in the view...
I've grown weary of the social circle jerk. My phone doesn't ring, sometimes I assume it's broken so I try dialing a couple numbers every so often just to make sure it's still working. My greatest friends and the subsequent lavish conversations all eminate from this humming perforated steel case, and this is the way I prefer it...
My passion for the world of commercial graphic design is dwindling each day, but I find solice in the fact that everyone else I know feels the same. There is solidarity in our indifference...
"Jobs in some parts of the world involve nothing more than a commitment to turning up and doing nothing for eight or nine hours. When your shift is over you go home and do nothing there as well. If your job is outdoors, then employment becomes indistiguishable from loitering. If your job involves being indoors, then it is often indistinguishable from the most abject despair"
I've lost the point of this entry, which I suppose summarizes my current disposition. My mind is full, full of void....
Anyhow, thanks for the book[s] Joel. Ellie, thanks for the keychain that will bond us until the end of days. Jochem, the J5 tickets were a great surprise and my dearest nick, thanks for the spliff and your presence of being, or maybe just being present...
