Why is the word “night” after optional? It makes no sense. Please remove “bon Anniversaire” TOO FRENCH! List the Springtime Sunday on top and Flowers below. Make the heading “Flowers Winemaker Dinner”!

Have you tested the files on a PC? The vision picture still isn’t loading. We are getting an exclamation point in its place...other than that we are up and running...

I'm not very facile at computers and don't know how to put the figures into an .eps file or to compress into a zip file. Can't you just ignore the illustrations, since they have no print in them, and do the fonts?

Seriously. It's not just a gimmick, it's helps reduce your carbon footprint as you don't need electric lights to see it.

Hi Jon,
The new title and back cover (some day I’ll get these right) are included below. I don’t know the answer to your question about what the publisher can use. So let’s proceed in the following way, if possible.
(1) Please send a copy of the front and back cover, with the new stuff, to Nurya.
(2) Please send sample fonts, also to Nurya, from just the chapter I previously sent you.Casey
Quantum Mechanics, the Brain & Spirituality.
The Path from Science to SoulQuantum mechanics implies the world is not at all as we imagine it to be. It shows there are no particles—no electrons, no photons—in spite of the nearly universal acceptance of that paradigm. And it implies that we each have a nonphysical Mind that uses our physical brain as a means of interacting with the physical world.
A clear, readable description of the essential core of quantum mechanics is given in Quantum Mechanics, the Brain & Spirituality. From this, we can see why there can be no particles, and why there must be a nonphysical Mind. An associated web site containing the technical arguments allows the scientist to verify in detail the results given in the book.
The way in which the brain functions is outlined. Then, drawing on insights from several mystical systems, we leave the realm of science and explore the world of the nonphysical Mind. Finally, in light of our knowledge of the way the brain works, we consider how spiritual practices achieve their end.
The hallmarks of Quantum Mechanics, the Brain & Spirituality are the clarity of the writing, its accessibility to nonscientists, and its interweaving of physics, neuroscience and the spiritual path. It gives a more specific and scientifically grounded connection between physics and spirituality than any other book in the field.
Dr. Casey Blood is Professor Emeritus of Physics at Rutgers University. For forty years, he has done research in and published articles on quantum physics and has independently pursued an interest in neuroscience. He has traveled widely, exploring a variety of mystical traditions. For over twenty five years he has been a student-practitioner-teacher of Sufism.

Pam - these are php extensions, and the decision was made last week that stayaka.com would be an all flash site, and akastay.com would be the html site with php extensions. In a nutshell, these are no good anymore.
I'm cc'ing Dell here so that he can make these links work using akastay.com instead of stayaka.com as the first part of the url. For now, you can reach each individual page by using akastay.com.

Hi Jon,
I left a message on your phone earlier, but at this point don't worry about it - I was with my student and we were trying to figure something out and I think we figured it out. She knows what she is doing with photoshop, it was just a bit slow at first, and I of course was just fiding my way.
I think though we may have fucked up the first night - I had sent her a list of what you said the procedure should be, as in 1, 2, 3 - and she went over it a few days ago and said no problem. So we sat down to work and I wasn't watching as she went into the program, I was getting all my stuff out - and, I'm not at all sure that she set the Color Setting at sRGB, which I suppose determines a number of things about what happens next. I assumed she had done this, but assumptions are not fact. We made our way through several dozen files, the 4x5 scans, and after minimal corrections - unsharp mask was not necessary because whoever worked on them in the lab in Silver Springs had tuned them up - and then resized and saved. The images looked pretty good. But it may be that we have to do them over again. Not the end of the world. Now that I see how easy the whole thing is, I understand why getting raw scans would have been fine, saving the tuning up for this end, instead of having intervention at an earlier stage, why not just do everything at once. Anyway, I will not be meeting with her until Monday, I'm leaving town on Thursday for a few days, and if I have any questions I'll be in touch. It's an ongoing education.
Thanks.Stuart
