"June 4, 1985 - Agents of the fledgling Canadian Security Intelligence Service follow Parmar to Duncan on Vancouver Island. Accompanied by Inderjit Singh Reyat, and an unidentified man dubbed Mr. X, the trio sets off explosives in the woods. Police say they were testing materials for the Air India bomb."

it's pretty hardcore that the judge dismissed the testimony of all the prosecution's witness'.
I don't think that there'll be an apeal because the community is scared to come forward after journalists were killed in their driveway, threatened, intimidated, etc.
I can't believe 100 million dollars were blown on this.
it's a sad day because things like this aren't supposed to happen here...

let me guess. things like this are only supposed to happen in america right?
- brandelec0
i think what mrsparkle meant is that it shouldn't happen here just as it doesn't happen in america.
i mean they are virtually untouchable here.. everyone is shit scared of them... cops, judges, the press
now that's fucked up

it's just a little hard to fathom that apparently there's an organization that snuffed out 350ish lives and then managed to get away with it kickin' it in your hometown.

"In 1978, in Clearbrook, BC, a Canadian Sikh named Beant Dhalawi was found dead after a C-clamp was placed on his skull and slowly tightened until his skull fractured. He was the first Canadian citizen to be murdered by Sikh fundamentalists--over the next 30 years, more than 160 others would join him."
