I think 'A' appeals to a lot of designers who will appreciate the rather clever manipulation of the 'G'. Myself included.
'B' suggests an unecessary relationship between 'good people' and 'Christianity' - too specific - sometimes generic is good. I also think it doesn't work for the client's line of business.
'C' - Designers may find it generic, but I'd bet that this one will get the most positive reactions from your average joe, hands down.

------------------and that's exactly why i think it needs to be used.
(designer's) taste should not play a major role in this decision, rather it's impact on it's targeted audience.

A, you cunts
- vburo0
not a, c it is.
from now on i will ban the letter a.

ok rcnd!

(designer's) taste should play a major role in this decision, because trying to guess its impact upon an imagined targeted audience is a condescending act
- Rand0
I believe that the collective impact of everyone making decisions based on a projected notion of what others reactions will be is a negative one
- vburo0
i am not dealing with the audience in an inferiorating manner, rand.
i think a is aesthtically pleasing and would be my personal preference.
i think c will be more easily memorized by people passing by that sign.

sorry.
I'll get off my soapbox and crawl back to asshole bleaching thread

A = good start
C = http://www.officeangels.com/
C = Type is too bold, kerning is off and the "smiles" look like an after thought. Plus thye pokey eye
A all the way I say

'c' reminds me a little of this one.
- vburo0
also for this specific agency c is less abstract and has this friendly inviting feel to it.
a is also friendly by shape but a little more alienating in a way.
i am aware of the fact that my projected notion of 'the audience' is entirely subjective, thus not 100% reliable. However i have to admit that i tend to follow my strong intuition on this one.

rand, please come back. i actually experienced the best discussion of the day and now you leave.. :(

There's an old PeopleSoft logo that incorporated basically the same idea as 'C'.
Can't seem to find it anywhere online tho .. I have it in a book at home.
- vburo0
i have never seen peoplepc before.. we don't have that here. if that is a very established brand over there then don't go for it.
- vburo0
in that case go with a.
b does not make me think of the company you are dealing with.
