how did the road test go?
- Jaline0
OMG. I was going to post about this.
- lifeinbinary0
well?
- Jaline0
It was horrible day. My dad and I washed the car, it was spic&span. I drove around the testing area a lot. We made sure everything worked correctly.
I was pumped to go, and then when the woman checked the lights and signals, my brake light was broken. I must have broke within a few hours before the test. Anyway, I was like, 'let's go home' and then my dad asked this guy if we could use his car.
I started the test a little shaky, and got the hang of it. I think the best part was parallel parking, but my tester was just sooooo picky about the littlest things.
To make a really long story just long, I didn't end up passing by a few points. I never made any major mistakes; the biggest mistake was turning corners too slowly. So....I'm taking it again in one month.
Not to blame my instructor, but seriously....I think she was too harsh.
- Jaline0
She was too harsh....mainly because I was driving a car I had never driven before...

i failed my exam last winter too, the fucker told me i was cutting my corners and speeding
one, it was snowing and the snow piled up on the middle of some streets so you had to cut the corner
two, a semi truck was merging into the highway to i had to speed up so it could merge behind me, i'm not about to slow a car from 90 to 60 on a highway
you'll get it next time

'he dont even have a license lisa!!!'
when i did get my license it didnt last too long, i was in a bad caar accident where i totalled my car and 4 others, one of them was a police car, my license was revoked for 1 full term and since the nystate motor vechile extended the 4 year term to 8 i just never got it again...driving is overated...take a hoverboard!

I don't actually like driving. I just have to because I have 4 siblings to drive around and my parents think I should be a chaffeur :)
- Jaline0
My friends were all lucky too. Apparently their instructors were all really young and generous.
Man, all I got was a french woman!

my evaluator for my final road teast (Gs in Ontario) was a bastard. he complained i wasn't going at the speed limit on the high. I argued that when i got on I was stuck behind a garbage truck (whcih never rolls near the speed limit) and if i tried to pass him I'd miss the next exit which I'm supposed to take and the passing traffic was going 40km/h faster than me. so thats even more dangerous.
plus he said i did a few rolling stops. apparently its illegal... but i passed anyways. i think i scared him.

sorry to hear, jaline,
you'll get it next time.epill, your story is crazy. surprised you are still alive!!
- Rand0
my daughter just failed hers, too, jaline. It happens to the most brilliant people
- blaw0
there are worse driving traits to have then cornering too slowly.
ask e-pill.
(to e-pill: holy shit, dude.)

i remember for my first driving lesson, the instructor was like 'hey, i gotta run some errands around town, so you are going to drive me.'
bastard takes me on the jamaica way (one of the curviest/craziest/fucked streets in all of new england) and then storrow drive (which is also no picnic). by the time we got where we needed to go, i was practically soaked from sweat. white knuckles in all.
but, in retrospect, it was the best way to learn. now im drive both those roads like im an andretti.
however, sorry to hear jaline. itll go better next time, i promise.

I failed my G2 aswell, I think I got nailed on a couple of rolling stops, and a don't turn right on a red light sign. I was pretty nervous.
Got it the second time though. And the G test was a breeze. mainly because I was driving for so long with the G2. It's just down to practice, the more time you have behind the wheel the better.
I'm sure you'll get next time.

i appreciate your concerns all of you, but i didnt get hurt, no one did actually, you can total a car without getting hurt
1. drive real slow on a turn in an ice storm.
2. make sure the roads are really slippery.
3. get cut off by another car
4. slam on the brakes, and make sure you are still on the turn.
5. complete eleven 360° turns.
6. HULKSMASH! as many cars as you can while spinning.
7. please wear your seat belt.
8. break axel of car and crush all exits.
9. leave axel and tires on highway 80yards behind you and your car.
10. get your license revoked for rekless driving!:)
- brandelec0
holy shit e-pill, everything must've seemed slow motion
what car were you driving?
