I'm making a booklet out of a folded A2 recto-verso sheet. The friggin thing is, I haven't got it printed yet. Seems here in Belgium we're not sofisticated enough to have technology to print A2 double sided. Damn.
So, the only alternative so far is to print it all through a plotting machine on one side, and then to glue it together some f*cking how, without the paper getting all messed up.
Any suggestions? I'm kinda freaking out here.

can you spray mount the back and sandwich it?
if there are significant or complicated folds, you should do each 'page' separately and tape the sucker up
how polished does it need to be?

thx blastofv, it needs to be pretty polished, so spray would indeed be a good solution. But with spray there could be important consequences, for instance: the glue becomes visible through the paper (unless the paper is thick enough, but then the folding becomes tricky). Another thing could be that the paper starts to become wavey.

how many are you printing? you must mean you can't print A2 off a digital printer... should be no problem offset.

I would just do each page or flat surface individually, then 'lightly' spray mount it and splice it together with some clear tape – so the folds don't ripple the pages and make a mess of the adhered pages
I just recently had to comp a 12 page brochure by trimming each page down and sandwiching the whole thing together with spray mount (our duplexing was way off and the bleeds had to be accurate)... it's a pain in the ass, but if you've got a steady hand it should come out OK
and clients should cut some slack for a comp... I mean with tape etc.
or if you're really stuck, hit up a Kinkos (or equivalent) and have them produce the sheets front-to-back

doh, you're not talking about a comp, are you?
my bad
find a more full-service/competent vendor somewhere that can handle the full sheet

hm, maybe i'll check on that. but i only need seven, maybe eight of them. most 'offsetters' don't go under 100's of pieces. at least not that i know of.

Truly Gash if you can't source a printer.
