I have never seen more bears in my life, than up in Whistler, BC...they are cruising around everywhere!
First time freaked me big time...when I left it was like, oh it's just a bear.

haha! wise saying.
couple months ago i was driving a back road home, saw a bear cross the road.
about 100 yards further was a lady working in her garden, so i stopped and mentioned the bear.
if you ever want to see a middle-aged woman hauling ass to her front door...

blaw - trust me, even if the photo looks close, we were keeping our distance and not provoking it in any way.
there is a saying around here that if you die from getting between a mama and her cub they write "suicide" on your death certificate.

awesome, gruntttttt.
be careful, though. mama bear's no one to fuck with, regardless of what jim aylesworth says.

healthy grunttt :D this is cool man very cool, I hope they aren't dangerous in terms of human contact and eating babies and stuff, what a wonderful thing to see, I recommend you protect your women folk (wife) by totally beefing her loads and loads essentially to get your smell around her so the bears stay the fuck away :D
If I have stepped over that line I appologise.

That's crazy. I would definitely just stay inside my house for a while.
I remember when a big deer was running around the street when it should've been behind the wire fencing that separates the forest from the houses. Anyway, my mom was really afraid of driving near it, but we had to in order to get to where we were going. When we came back the deer wasn't there, so I have no clue what happened to it.

Did you think about putting on a red bandanna and filming a scene where you reflect on the heat emanating from their shit?

(Jul 27 06, 13:19)no.
it's more of a burgundy bandana.

that's pretty wild. did animal control people cature them?
tkmeister
(Jul 27 06, 13:05)no, in fact animal control says if you see a bear don't call us, just stay out of it's way. If a bear becomes a nuisance they'll catch it and release it somewhere remote. If one attacks someone (happens very rarely) they'll try to track the bear and kill it.

there we a total of 3 cubs. A car came up the road, the cubs scooted up the tree you see on the right and the the momma followed up. I was grilling the yard at the time. it was surreal to be flipping chicken and checking over my should every few seconds to make sure the bear was still in the tree.

Nice Grant. there are always deer in my backyard since we live in front of a forest. This old man feeds them in the wintertime, and I wonder what they'll do once he's gone...

that shit is amazing! I would have shit my pants and giggled with excitement at the same time if I saw that from my back yard.
All I ever see out here in my backyard is an occasional sun spider or scorpion... then there's a lot of mules and bighorn sheep up in the mountains.
