that Font Shop posting has got me dreaming about a move to SF.
I'm not sure I'm 'there' yet - in terms of work experience and a rocckin' portfolio - but I might apply anyway.
It's a big move from Toronto but what the fuck - never know until you try.
any advice would be much appreciated - also other job leads.
:)
love

jevad, how long are you in town for?

Hang Ah is fucking amazing. so glad you made it there. sounds like the trip was pretty great. :)
and to live there is great; although, housing and/or ownership in that area is nuts. like, totally, you-have-no-idea-how-fucking-nut... nuts.....

we went there with a dear old friend, a 70 year old chinese lady who grew up in SF, and that was the one thing we wanted out of our visit-- for her to take us to one of her favorite places for dim sum. god we ate so much

...was my hometown. I hardly recognize it now, and it's sad.
Money came in and the town left.

was back there this weekend as well, although for two memorial services. Good times. Mainly was up in the north bay, napa, sonoma.
returned to the snow and sleet of CO. good times.

sorry about that kyl3- although i hope they were celebratory events for you guys.
where in sonoma and napa did you go? did you see nic hung over trying to check in at SFO? ;)
- material-10
haha no, I couldn't see anything at 6:30am sunday morning when I checked in.
It was good to be there for the services but a sad thing in general. Luckily I saw my parents and some friends which I missed during the holidays due to the blizzards.

Holy shit those were awesome and I didnt even think to snap a pic!
I realise now what I don't like about Denver - why I've been so fucking depressed since I've been here. I'm a big city boy - born and raised, and this cow town doesn;t have much to offer me in the way of real life, multi cultralism, and ehtnicity.
The thing I love most about SF is that it's like 8 little cities all joined together to make one big one. It's the most un-American American city I've ever been to I think. Just wonderful. Can't wait to go back.
