bodoni is probably not the best bet anyways :)
have u tried some sans serifs..
or at the very least distinguishing the 'e' from the rest of pamphleteer a bit? like nairn did.. with a different colour a different typeface a different size, weight.. something...

yeah, i am working on all of those scenarioes
the reason for bodoni is cause i am trying out types made somewhere near 1800 in the US, and i think bodoni is one (at least he lived then i think)...
the site is about publishing, so i am trying to find faces that relate to publishing from the 1800's (flyers, political figures (ben franklin)) cause of the ideas of the site owner
so yeah, i am trying lots of stuff...
but the name is soooo long
i am looking mainly at:
caslon
baskerville
bodoni
linotype monticello
and posibly an old slab serif

bodoni was italian. you may want to try something from fredric goudy, morris benton, or oswald cooper.
