Kudos or Progress

Ok here goes. I have been offered 2 jobs, and i'm really having a tough time deciding what to do.
1) is very big, very prestigious, agency in Manchester, massive clients. But money is errm average to say the least.
The other is a mid size agency in the midlands, who are up and coming (apparently) I would be lead creative then Creative director after 6 months. Money is fantastic. and the big clients are slowly coming.
Now do I go for the kudos with the big boys, or fight to make a name for my self at the smaller agency?
Anyone been in a similar position or can offer some wisdom? Would taking a CD position too early in my career do more harm than good or am I just being chicken shit?
Thanks guys & Gals

To me it sounds like you have already made up your mind. Your intuition is craving more than just being pampered.

Lots of number two in here. I say two. Too.

go with the number everyone recommends, if you fail you can blame NT instead of yourself for making a bad decision.

You should make a "con vs. pro" list before deciding (location, pay, work environment, hours, type of work, etc.), and then weigh out the things that matter to you the most.
I'd say go with 2, but there are reasons to go with 1 as well.

I think I know someone who works/worked for kudos

no fucking question- 2.

what jaline said, besides remember that sometimes small shops struggle as you pointed out "who are up and coming (apparently)" also you said that you would be the lead creative after 6 months. Many things can happen in 6 months. More people can get hired, fired, relocated or simple the head of the company decided to wait another six months and so forth.
Now in big shops if you are the caliber the shop needs you might escalate faster than what you think but dont get yourself fooled if you know you couldnt pull it off then you are better off in a smaller shop to get the experience and then move forward.
my 20 cents
