I'm sorry if I think people shouldnt die in the street because they don't make enough money to pay for medical care.
What a wacky liberal I am.
- tommyo0
Yeah I guess I wasted all my time today trying to prove that I want people to die in the streets. If that's all you've taken from this then I wish I could get my time back. And you call me a meathead. Classic.

Yeah, they just issued themselves bonds in the SS Trust Fund. Bush was spending the surplus since his first year. Nobody seemed to care when he altered the tax exemptions and paid everyone 300 bucks while he passed the "The Economic Growth and Tax Relief Reconciliation Act of 2001" which was basically just a way to dispense with Social Security all together by encouraging 401 investment in the middle and lower class.

that is the outcome though Tommy. That is the outcome of a for-profit system of health care.
It just is.

(Oct 11 07, 13:48)And this is why we should entrust them with more control over our finances and our lives. Point well taken. I think I'm going to move to a different country.

when carter was president we would fight all the time about it on NT... same shit
- mrdobolina0
Billyclint didn;t loot the treasury... it could be said he created it.
Im just saying.
- Mimio0
You can't really argue with the data either, we pay more money per insured person and we have a lower life expectancy and lower quality of care.
- mrdobolina0
created the surplus, that is.
nice one calles.
- Mimio0
//yeah, we're just ingrate malcontents.

Tommy, I'm saying a single-payer system has been proven to save money. You'd think a conservative would see that saving money is a good thing. They should call you guys "preservatives" of the status quo of corruption.
- mrdobolina0
No doubt, we pay the most and don't get the best because it is a for-profit model.
What if police and fire departments were treated the same way, using the free market system.
Some things need to be sponsored by government to work better for all people.
You selfish sunzabitchez :)

One would think that some sort of knowledge would be needed about the Constitution if one was seeking to hold the executive office to carry out it's dictates.

One would think.
Fucking jokers everyone of them. Imagine if you operated on the same criteria:
"I see here, do you know Photoshop?"
"Ah, yes, well, we all like pretty pictures don't we? Well I am familiar with it, yes, and I have soem friends I can call up in a pinch if I need to use some of it's functions, so I feel I am fully capable of operating that particuklar program in a high stress deadline situation."
Fuck, you'd be laughed out the fucking door. And these guys want to be leaders of the fucking free world and they don't even know what the fucking thing says?
- tommyo0
You guys just don't get it.
- mrdobolina0
You can always shut down conservatives with that police/fire department shit.
Same thing with water and sewage. Cholera isn't good for business.
Grandma died because the water was bad.
Well I guess Granny won't be buying water from that company again!
The Free Market Prevails Again!
- mrdobolina0
I hope her grandson doesn't file a frivolous lawsuit because granny died! Fucking ingrates!
- tommyo0
Yeah you can shut them down with the whole 8 years in medical school vs 6 months of on the job training argument! Those dumb conservatives can't navigate around that landmine!!!
- Mimio0
Tommy, you don't get it. There are working examples of this in most industrialized countries. We should learn from them, better yet, improve on them. In Germany they have a blended system with primary and catastrophic care for everyone and then people can buy high-deductible plans to supplement their own care.
- tommyo0
Rick,
You make no sense other than on the liberal blogosphere. Even most liberals I know would laugh at you. Communism Lite 2.0 sounds like a utopia Rick, pure bliss.
Mimio,
My point is that OUR GOVERNMENT is not the same as others...look at Canada and the US in respect to gun deaths. Show me all the examples you want, it won't work here. Put jet fuel in your Vespa and see what happens.
