I think DopePope and Baseline Shift should do a collab together - I can totally see the two styles mixing in a really interesting way - The softness of baselines renders and hardness of Dope's sculpts. Man - it's starting to sound pervy - but damn it would be nice haha...

Discovered yesterday that Sparth has put some of his work and custom Ps brushes up on Gumroad as tutorials, to buy for a nominal fee - along with some instructional videos. $6 gets you his brushes and some example artwork.
Threw this together with some of his brushes inbetween waiting for renders. It seems to exactly the kind of thing I needed to get back into doing this sketch work - I almost instantly liked the results.

pretty proud of this one. I designed, printed and put together this close up shooting light for my wife.
It has 3 individual lights that can produce their own colors (awesome gradient finish), is super light and has load of options, control from anywhere (in the world with a smartphone/tablet) etc, etc,(sorry for the potato quality vid and photos they were shot and edited with my phone)

I'm actually pleased with how the piece I was working on came out, but of course my own voice is like nails on a chalkboard. Any objective feedback would be appreciated.

I am so happy today. After two months of work, my new website is live now: http://www.simonbolz.com (NSFW).
Hard to believe I worked two full months on this. But under the hood, everything is new. Now, it's fully responsive (actually fluid and responsive or whatever you want to call it). I re-coded from scratch and the content is new, too.
Wordpress always felt bloated for my needs, so I decided to go for a new blog. As there was no good alternative for me, I decided to make my own blog. I hope you like it.
