Worked on countdown graphics for New Year event.
It's crazy how many people involved are behind this thing, everything needs to be cued and triggered at the same time, the amount of pressure is pretty intense, so when it works feels pretty good and it's party time!

Sorry for the double post (it has its own post), but I forgot about this monster thread! Sted was kind enough to remind me!
This is a concept I've been playing with the last few weeks.
Explores patterns and uses a lot of times reflections and other tricks in order to create the illusion of something that is not actually there.It's rendered in 4k and it took forever to finish! For some reason it doesn't show in 4k in Safari but it does in Chrome.

I chose one of craigatkinson's wonderfully strange heads to sculpt as a warm up. not more than an hour, including the render. I tried to retain all the style of the drawing, it's minimalism, it's strangeness, it's disregard of realism, but make it 3D, and add some level of dimension without adding too much. It was fun. I may do a few others. I get lost in each one he draws, thinking how it would translate to 3D, and found it's quite inspiring.

You did this with greensock? You do all the animating by hand, or is..detritus - ..there some sort of timeline editor you can use along side.
