Someone earlier was requesting audio samples of someone speaking in a gibberish language and it got me thinking... What does your native language sound like when spoken in gibberish?
I've heard people try to mimic Chinese, Spanish, Italian, etc.., but never English. I've always wondered what it would sound like if someone spoke gibberish English (especially if English was their second language).
I'm in no way trying to offend anyone or poke fun at any language in particular, just curious and kinda fascinated.
Here's an English speaker, speaking fake Chinese, Spanish, Italian, etc...
And some response videos speaking fake English:

i grew up in germany, and when we pretended we were speaking english, we'd act like we had a potato in our mouth (english has very few crisp sounds so it always sounded like americans had something in their mouth) and make lots of soft 'r' sounds like 'wrang wring wrorry'. that's what we heard with our little german ears.

The Chinese he's speaking has some real words in it. He starts off "I am called..." then the words don't make sense, the context is all off.

My ex-girlfriend's dad used to tell me about being a young boy in Germany during/after the second world war. The Americans were occupying West Germany and him and his friends used to try to mimic the Americans to taunt them. Trouble was they didn't know English so they were reduced to phonetic imitation of things they thought they heard the Americans saying. He had a whole language of phrases which I can't remember now, but two phrases they used to shout to the soldiers were "Lumpen Shirtybin ho-ho" and "Yirking Shitting Crycry". They had no idea what these things meant, but they were sure it would annoy the soldiers.

You can just imitate different accents around North America and add some extra words in sentences for fun.

My little sister and I pretended to speak English when we played with our 'american barbies' and when we walked around the mall in caracas. people would look at us really weird and we thought we were so cool cause we spoke english. till this day, my friends ask me to speak it and they get a kick out of it... if i were to write it it would sound like ... "manasha washarr rrashers ".. :/

I don't remember much. Except that I refused to speak in class (I would only whisper the national anthem when no one was looking) so they sent me to ESL because they thought I was stupid and/or way too shy for their liking. It was the best ploy ever on my part. I got to play games all day and my uncle (who is only 4 years older than me) was in the same class, so we hung out together all day.

My 6 year old daughter started speaking and singing using faux English a few months ago. Really funny.
