Pablo Picasso was fond of rare, expensive timepieces. But one of his favorite watches was a more modest piece from Michael Z. Berger. One of only three examples in existence, the stainless-steel manual timepiece was crafted in 1960 and follows the 12-digit name tradition which replaces the numerals on the dial with the owner's name. Picasso famously wore the watch in iconic portraits from Cecil Beaton.
