Watches I own, in comparison a very low budget bunch:
Orient Ray II, a sub $200 200m diver. Newer models have sapphire crystal for roughly the same price.

I like the Ball brand due to it's price point and that they all have the micro gas tubes for indices. I also love a blue panda.However, the combination of in house movement and +200m WR always results in that there are gas tubes in the numerals too, which looks weird:

Anyone moding their watch? Seems seiko is the modders favourite.
I feel this is a rabbit hole I could fall down, very tempting to customise out a watch as I want it to look... only the other day I was day dreaming of designing some watches in Blender, using nice typography and golden ratio proportions seeing as most watches out there are an eyesore, mostly sold on brand name reputation rather than 'good' design.
