You should see the issue with Ahhnold on the cover.

So, nobody knows who's in charge of design at esquire?

I would say in-house.

Since 2006, The Designer Director of Esquire Magazine is David Curcurito. The heavy type cover concept was developed by David Granger but D. Curcurito is the one behind the refining of each cover.
They call the concept "Vietnam Memorial Approach". I don't know if all of us like it or not (I personally love it) but the fact is that Esquire has grown and almost 7% of its sales since the re desing of the mag.

I still can not stand the "esquire" logo so FKN ugly.

the fonts are shitty, is it neutra?
- The Neutra thread is finding its way everywhere on QBN, LOLutopian

The Clooney cover is nice...if it was Skateboarder Magazine. Esquire is trying so hard to be what they aren't.
It's like a 50 year old dad shopping at Hollister.
