Think about the fact that is a classic. Esquire Magazine was founded in the 30's (I think is was 1933 or 34). Although the logo used to have a much thiner stroke back in the day, Just imagine what it will mean for their image to change their logo; Mostly when Hearts Corporation is a very traditional company... well I guess they were not too traditional when they built their new building but... you'll get the idea. ;)
