Basically i went to a job interview, they showed me there main website, and want a small section of the front page redesigned, they said i need to send an invoice for the work before i start, from this they'll decide to give me the job or not,
not sure what price to charge, as i dont want to scare them, but then i dont want to make myself look cheap, so a bit confused, if anyone can help!
would be amazing
cheers

Yeah, £50 an hour, done and done.

Yep... £50 an hour... maybe a bit less if you have little experience.

mite have to do that then, nice 1 guys

Send an ESTIMATE based on a guess at the amount of hours it will take you @ 50/hr or whatever you decide.. this way your not under selling yourself and if they ask for more concepts, corrections, rounds of changes then your able to charge them extra. where as a quote locks you in to a fixed price. Anyway that's how i work here in aus, might be different in the uk

No other industry does this type of hoop jumping. I mean I realize they need to know that you know what you are doing but...
