Get a big piece of flank steak, and marinate it in a nice mixture of olive oil, diced onion, garlic, soy sauce and lemon juice.
Barbecue it.
Cut into thin strips.
Use thin strips to make sandwiches of great flavor, taste, and satisfaction!

One time I made up a personal budget, exactly to the penny. And the lunch money I spent was the most significant "not needed" expense. So I decided to bring lunch instead of buying everyday.
Pasta and tukey sandwiches do get boring after a while... and as for salad.. salad is what food eats!

Pasta with simple meants such as meatballs or grilled chicken do well in the microwave.
Sauces dry out so add water before you heat it up. The flavor is all still there the moisture just either evaporates or gets soaked up by the pasta.
Also, wraps. Like turkey, spinach, tomato, and cheese wrapped in a whole wheat tortilla do pretty well if you don't have a microwave.
I find the most efficient/tasty way to save money is make a little extra dinner and take it to work the next day.
You're already paying for the ingredients, using a little more usually doesn't cost anything.
