It's a very dangerous statement to make. On a lot of levels.
The concept of intelligence and its implications has huge social impact. It is a huge field of study that spans everything from social sciences to quantum physics.
I agree that there are a lot of bozo's out there with tats, but I don't think the tats have anything to do with it. There are just a lot of bozo's out there.
- well said. someone buy this man a pint!sputnik2

I KNEW IT...you're a total failure in life who gets off on shit like this...you don't care about the topic either way you just want people to acknowledge your existence.

My theory is that anyone that thinks of tattooing in the same light as a fashionable belt or trendy t-shirt was born after 1980.
- hi blaw :)
i agree wholeheartedlysputnik2 - Cheers, Mama Sputnik. :Dblaw
- I'm not sure if I should be insulted or proud ;)Jaline

- Never be insulted by me, missus.blaw
- I just liked it better when having a tattoo was a sign of being a dirtbag, soldier, or general roughneck.blaw
- Nah, just kidding around about being insulted by the "born after the 1980s" bit. Plus, I know you're intelligent.Jaline

someone said that some of us can't commit to a life-long decision like having a tattoo which is why we poo-poo them? i have a child and other life-long commitments, and compared to those a tattoo is a joke.
i actually really love the way some tattoos look on some people. i think they should have meaning and i would hope for them that they would age well, but i personally won't get one since i wouldn't want to mar my body with ink. i prefer myself au natural, if you will.
- yes sputnik, but we arent comparing tattoos to children.. unless you are tattooing your childrenautoflavour

what about people who admire the art and craftsmanship of a well-done tattoo? ever think about those people?
I love how people make attempts to call out the ignorance of others when their arguments are ignorant to begin with. well done making yourself look stupid.

Okay is that a tattoo that someone got who wasn't in the Operation at Normandy?

People with tattoos have their own reasons for getting them and people that don't have tattoos have their own reasons for not getting them. IQ is irrelevant. This thread is just another shallow reason to put people in conflict with one another, which I find pretty sad. Grow up.

cock-splitting is pretty rough.

Note that IQ is different from intelligence. I don't believe I have ever said that people who have Tattoos have a lower IQ than people who don't have tattoos.
I have said that a tattoo is a sign of lower intelligence.
I make no commentary on the accuracy of Intelligence metrics e.g. IQ
Lemme guess...you have a tattoo.

I'm 35 years old, born well before 1980 and have no tats. No real reason just never wanted one. My friend Julio has the raddest tat ever, a mexican chica with her tits out and 2 sawed off shotguns on his bicep all the way up to his shoulder. Tattoos should be bad ass.
- That's pretty cool, actually. I hope this doesn't sound racist or strange, but I think it really fits his name.Jaline
- nah it doesn't Julio is a crazy mf'er.mrdobolina
