The latest from Londonistan... UPDATE: Tommy Robinson Receiving Death Threats in New UK Prison – Imam Orders Hit on Tommy Robinson

Fears for the safety of Tommy Robinson are mounting after it was revealed that he has been moved to a heavily Muslim-populated prison in the United Kingdom and has already been on the receiving end of death threats.

Robinson was jailed last month for a “breach of the peace” while live streaming a trial involving Muslim rape gang outside Leeds Crown Court.

He was initially held in a low security prison with a low Muslim population.

However, today it was revealed by Robinson’s manager Caolan Robertson that the activist has now been moved to another prison that has a large Muslim prison population.

Sarah Huckabee Sanders Cites Bible As Reason To Detain Immigrant Children

White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders defended the administration’s detention of nearly 1,500 immigrant children by citing the Bible.

In a series of heated exchanges between Sanders and reporters at Thursday’s press briefing, the press secretary seemed to have trouble explaining the reasoning behind the practice of separating children from their parents when they cross into the U.S. illegally.

That is not what she said.

Jim Acosta: "On the children who are being separated from their families as they come across the border, the attorney general earlier today said there is justification for this in the Bible. Where does it say in the Bible that it's moral to take children away from their mothers?"
Sarah Huckabee Sanders: “I’m not aware of the attorney general’s comments or what he would be referencing. I can say that it is very biblical to enforce the law. That is actually repeated a number of times throughout the bible.”

Headline: “Sarah Huckabee Sanders Cites Bible As Reason To Detain Immigrant Children”

In a roundabout way you could claim that that headline is right but that would be acting in bad faith. I think most us clearly interpret that headline as if she would have said: “Clearly Psalm 127:3-5 says ‘Thou shalt detain the offspring of those who trespass the borders of Canaan’.”

She cited the bible as a reason to enforce the law, NOT as a reason to detain immigrant children. There is a difference. Once we get this clickbait bullshit out of the way we can start focusing on the real issue. That is why I’m taking the time to make the distinction.

    • The headline is a little clickbaity I guess. I did want to share the video only but it's not on YouTube (or I couldn't find it). I should have said watch thefadein11

Let me just say, anyone that agrees with this situation of children and families being separated, #1 if you are a Christian, go ahead and turn in your Bibles. You're done. And #2, congratulate yourself for going along with one of the most immoral decisions I've seen my own country make.

As a parent, this infuriates me to no end. There are better ways to deal with this yet we've decided to handle it in the WORST POSSIBLE WAY...

"This isn’t new: A mural of Barack Obama was also featured in at least one detention center, along with a quote about America being a country of immigrants.

Trump’s quote does not originate from any presidential speech or policy announcement, however. His observation on war and battle comes from the former real estate developer’s co-authored book, The Art of the Deal. In its original context, the line refers to evicting tenants (p. 249)."
