This whole Biden-running-for-president ambition was futile from the beginning. He's just riding Obama's coattails; Biden has no real following & support of the masses of his own.
It's like Mike Pence running for president just because he was Trump's VP; zero chance.

The weirdest part of this election is that Biden leads the polls all year...dozens of candidates all give up...then his campaign collapses right when the voting begins.

The progressive left will once again drag America kicking and screaming into a better future. But in 15 years, some redneck in a red state is gonna be complaining that their district's ambulance service needs more funding to have regional supplies for outdoor-related injuries instead of getting a medical bill that serves a generation of debt in an instant for tripping over a rock and breaking your wrist on the fall.

I consider myself a progressive and was hoping Warren would break through, because I personally think Sanders has got too much baggage to win the general. Where I see a guy who figured out the US's problem 40 years ago, the GOP will easily scare off a majority of the country just by circulating old video of him talking about socialism. He's the right messenger in the sense that he knows what structural changes the US needs, but he's the wrong messenger in basically every other way.
Puts me in kind of a bind...if the last two standing are Bernie and Buttigieg/Klobuchar when my state votes in April, I honestly don't know what I'll do.
Bloomberg, don't even get me started. He's only not the worst because Trump's in the conversation.
