Calero - I am so happy to see more of your black and whites. It is so interesting to compare the cut film with the Polaroids. The tones in the cut film are so smooth (South Plaza) and the Polaroids have such a strong contrast. I love both.
I am particularly taken with the landscape of the road with the hills in the background. Perfect value range and composition and such depth from the sidewalk cracks in the foreground to the hint of shrubbery on the hills. And it seems so straight-forward or sincere. Maybe "honest" is a better word. There is no affectation with the subject or framing. I like it.
The top Polaroid portrait is also great. I have commented on your stream, but your portraits of family and the images you have taken around your home are some of my favorites. All very intimate shots. High contrast images can sometimes be harsh, but not with these.
JG_LB - Great color in that top image of the girl in the bikini. And her pose and expression are so strong. I love the confidence the image conveys.
bolus - Your shots are just flawless. The light and color are always spot on. So crisp. I always enjoy the subject matter too, which often has a simplicity that I find calming despite the fact that there is often a lot to look at (workspace & woods images).
(commence the jokes about my gushing comments)
