Nah... not this time. Honestly. I gained a little weight and I am not motivated at all. Also I woke up this morning with a little cold. Not a big deal bu it's something.
What will kill me from now on is that my gym replaced the treadmills and so now we have a 30 min limit and then they kick you out of the area. I can't do the 8, 9, 10 km runs i as used to doing. :o(
I'll be going 4-5 km at a time from now on.

Vector - try duct taping your toe. Its good to keep from getting blisters and for sprains. Hey guys I'm so glad this is back on. I've been recovering from the marathon but am ready to hit the pavement. I'm gonna have to put in some long runs to catch up with you though. Glad to see new peeps, looks like a strong group this challenge!

um... what to do what to do...
both flutter and mattia have run this year...
we got a 10k this month just a few blocks from my place. too tempted to join just to give a try. never ran before.

I know I know. I'm very very negative (or realistic).
But this time I do have that issue of the treadmills. Very very annoying.
Some people at the gym have complained because one should be able to stay in the treadmill longer if nobody is waiting and stuff. And I am not much of an outdoor runner. It's boring.- ok, I will give you the benefit of the doubt, but you better not win this one then ;)Meeklo

first knee injury every. this sucks. I blew it out at the marathon and took 3 weeks off. Tried running again today and now it hurts again. Where is the body parts exchange depot?

If this is the area that have been hurting I highly suggest you don't underestimate the problem.
I had tendinitis on my Achilles Tendon, and it took me out of the game for more then 7 months! And all because I thought I was just running too much. Most important thing you have to do is stretch, stretch, and more stretch. Also ice it every time you are done. Take an ice cube and ice the area for about 10 minutes (use more then one ice cube ;-) )
Here's some exercise I do.
- The last exercise you need to alternate heels, one down, the other up, and so on.mattiaBK
