- Form over function. I spend a lot of time in another building by these people and the roof leaks - a lot.comicsans
- I'd actually wager this is an instance of function over form, to its own detriment.detritus

With drone footage and the unveiling of a new model kit of the BIG-designed LEGO House in Billund, Denmark, some hype is building before the museum's opening on 28 September 2017.
LEGO House, a museum and "experience" center for the popular toy company in its hometown of Billund, was unveiled in summer 2013, a few months after BIG - Bjarke Ingels Group was announced as the building's architect. BIG's involvement made perfect sense, given the firm's penchant for literally using the toy blocks in their own models, as did their design, which resembles oversized LEGO blocks arranged about a central skylit square.
The groundbreaking took place the following summer and ever since then kids and AFOLs (adult fans of LEGO) have been looking forward to the building's opening, which was recently announced as Thursday, September 28th. Coinciding with the opening will be a new LEGO Architecture kit on the building with nearly 800 pieces. Get yourself to Billund if you want one – the kits will be sold only at LEGO House.

A New Multi-Level House Sits On The Shores Of The Mediterranean Sea
- it's pretty amazing because it's huge and in a cool spot and cost a bazillion but it's tacky and boring, like an 80s resort hotel.Fax_Benson

Great Facebook group for children's playground architecture.
It's somewhat oriented towards playgrounds in Jerusalem, Israel, but most of the content is from around the world.
