It's going to suck waiting until 2013 for this to end.

Todd is vying to be the next Gus. "We will talk cash when I get this straight." He is playing right into Walt's major point of contention with Mike, Jesse, Gus, and everybody else --- money. The whole season has hinged on this money issue - almost mentioned in every episode this season. And Walt is greedy, if $5M could not sway him, then he is bound to skewer himself on his own sword somehow.
Todd is going to wait, then pounce. Now that Jess is out, Mike is dead, the legacy folks will get shanked, and Lydia will serve as the new distribution hub to the other dealers in the new distribution network. Todd will used the info he knows (methlamine, dead kid, how the biz works), using his jail ties, and knowing how to cook -- all in a bid to put Walt out of business. Or he will use all of this information to make a power move to take complete control and push Walt down to making some sum less than what he was getting before. Walt's family and life will be in jeopardy, in the end he will be lucky to have any family and any money left. His entire plan will come full circle from nothing to everything and back to nothing.
Or he is 3 steps ahead of everyone. Maybe he is socking away some of the "blue" with Lydia as an investment. He is pushing Skylar away so she takes the kids to New Hampshire - to keep them away from danger. He is setting up Todd to take the brunt of the DEA crack down. While he kills off the remaining individuals that know anything about him and his ties to the "blue" - Jesse, Saul, etc. He then takes payments for the "blue" from Lydia in exchange for a percentage and that the business relationship is over when the supply is gone. Lydia wins and walks, the rest die, Walts gets out with a huge bankroll and the family relocates to New Hampshire - and Flynn get's more maple syrup than he can imagine.
- Brandon!! I read as far as "New Hampshire" then wrote my response. LOLmg33

I could see Skylar taking the kids to New Hampshire. Right next door to Vermont, and all that maple syrup. Heaven for Walt Jr.!
- Ha! That Flynn is by far the worst developed role in any series. I wonder if they did it on purpose to create a WTF character.brandon_phillip

Is the ending getting too obvious at this point? Descent into evil/ self destruction for Walt? I hope they through a twist into it somewhere.
- I wish he'd just try his product already.mg33
- yeah, some sort of realization and/or redemption would be a nice endlocustsloth
- brandon_phillip0
^ I hope so too, would like Vince to throw us a loop at the very end this year and close it out very nicely next year. I just hope it's not some Inception shit (dream within a dream within a dream) or some Lost shit (where it was all a day dream by Walt after realizing he had cancer and did not leave a legacy behind, let alone a sizable security blanket for his family).

"Walt setting todd up to take the brunt of the takedown and Flynn get's more maple syrup than he can imagine"
Brilliant.
- Ambushstudio0
From the first episode I could see some Meth use on Walt's face...
So i agree that Walt using his own product could be a possibility...
IMPOSSIBRU?
- nthkl0
I actually thought about that. Walt actually using, why not? It'd take him losing everything... Crazy Man Jaws/Kids/that shitty 300m.

I don't like Walt. I liked Mike. This show is depressing.
- Agreed.brandon_phillip
- yep. that was the biggest wtf of the show so far for me.sine

I'm confident the finale will be a major homage to Scarface and it's ending. Someone will end up shooting Walt in the back.
- qoob0
Imagine the speculation in this thread between now and summer 2013. It will be 8000 posts by then.
- Nope. It will go dark about 15 days after the finale. Then start up around May of next year. IMHO.brandon_phillip
- not if I can help it.mg33
