I saw it coming from a mile away! People have been so ridiculously overly liberal the last 10 years, banning the word "xmas" because non christians might get offended etc etc, that there was bound to be a reaction to it. Thank god it's a small one, though. Nick Griffin is the fucking antichrist!!!

If gives me joy to read all the responses on this thread, seriously.

i thought it was sadly ironic that the BNP got voted in a few days after everyone was celebrating D-Day as a time when we fought together against the rise of fascism and the nazis.

Every single nation has been colonized by immigrants at some point in history. Why do people think it's so important to hold on to "national culture" when their culture was formed as part of that same process?
- cause their dads and friends held racist views when they were kids, and it instilled fear and mistrust into them.mikotondria3

europeans not invited to the politics thread? i don't think there's a single mention of euro elections in there.
- moth0
Let's discard all national culture then because that will make the world a really interesting place to be, wont it?
Fuck currencies and 134 different types of coffee and coffee shops, let's all pay for our consistently flavoured Starbucks in euros in every fucking country we visit.
That will be fun.

good for them. they don't like being invaded.

racist rhetoric went from playing naturally superior to playing victims...you know after 400 years of genocide and imperial persecution. Anyone remember India? Mexico? South Africa? Think the problems have gone away? No more history?

moth this has nothing to do with national culture,
gaining vote on a politic of fear only leads to more chaos, there are too many examples of this tecnhic easily getting out of hand, I live in Italy where the government is currently using fear on a hourly bases to gain votes.look I'm not saying you should cancel your culture (maybe the cooking bit) but you should be open to people from different background coming in to have a better life.
btw wasn't the british empire one of the most brutal and ruthless one?
- moth0
War on terror Georges? My government too uses fear.
I think reducing a BNP vote to a product of fear is also slightly underplaying what's going through people's minds. The BNP understand it - and they're winning votes because of it.
These people are not scared. You underestimate them. It's a quick fix to pass them of as ignorant.

Basically, I'm never going to vote their way. But I do see a huge fucking elephant in the room when it comes to immigration. The recent episode with the Gurkhas pretty much exposes it as a broken system.
- GeorgesII0
look, anyone who associate himself with the kkk, is an ignorant sob.
I don't know what else to add to this.
right now you're saying this, but when they'll gain enough power to influence how GB is run, you'll be sorry you didn't stop them,
italy is a great example how politics shouldn't be done.- anyways, I don't care much right now, I'm about to light one up ;)GeorgesII
- Why are people so unwilling to try and understand something that disgusts them?moth
- because I'm black and I've suffered racism and insult of everytipe from people I didn't even knowGeorgesII
- now I just live with it, but I don't want my kids to grow up with the same cunts making fun of them because they're colored...GeorgesII
- garner knowledge of them and use it against them. It's the best way. Know your enemy!moth

If you mix the three primary colors of light -- red, yellow and blue , you get grey
"Citizens of the world", lets do it!
- *actually, you get brown. I tell my 7 year old that everyone is a type of brown, really light, to really dark. She knew it alreadymikotondria3
- Culture is homogenised 'grey' by big business.. if people and small business is doing the mixing you get a marble effect.lukus_W
- that sir, is an excellent analogy - that is my thought of the day, fair play :)mikotondria3

I think the immigration 'issue' is a bit of a fallacy -> if someone is able to come to the UK, work and is paying taxes then what's the fucking problem? If we make it impossible for someone in the UK to work legally, then we're shooting ourselves in the feet.
In the UK we love to moan and complain, but rarely do much to positively change our society for the better; we just blame and pass the buck instead. The BNP is a concentration of the worst of what it means to be British. Even if they were able to deny charges of racism, their general political stance is totally selfish, protectionist and hypocritical.
Our culture is being erode by the influence of global commercialism - not immigration. If the British people have an identity crisis, it's our problem - not the problem of the people who come to live here.
- I think a lot of people have concerns about the rate of immigration and making sure its properly managed (in terms of services)ribit
- ..services, integration).ribit
- Yeah, fair enough: but if people are paying taxes they are supporting the services they use - in terms of integrationlukus_W
- I think that's a more difficult question.. because you can't force someone to give up what they identify withlukus_W
- integration should be a two way street. My life has seriously been enriched through being mates with people from other cultureslukus_W
- countries and cultures - I'm sure that would be true for the majority of us.lukus_W

Neo-Nazis take council seats in cities across Germany
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/…naive, slobbery cretins all of you who think mass-immigration is going to go well

Goodbye civilization! Let's do the fascist again!
