I'm heading to these three cities and the surrounding coast for 10 days of camping and general vacationery, starting tomorrow.
It's my first time out there. Can you recommend some good food, shows, camping spots, surfing beaches, buffoonery, and the like?

if you're really into camping, you should do the 'west coast trail'.. you need more time though

if you see a grizzly bear, if you want to live, look him right in the eyes and run towards him

+ careful its a long weekend in BC which means campgrounds will be overbooked and a nightmare finding vacancies.

If you can get a spot, Alice Lake in Squamish (1hr from Vancouver toward Whistler) is a nice campground with a swimmable lake. Typically full-up on weekends, better luck if you go mid week.
There's a capfire ban going on right now, so you better have a stove if you want to cook anything.

I'm curious - what's the cost of campings in the US? Generally speaking, of course.
