HULU is far superior to netflix in terms of streaming good movies as far as i can tell. some of my faves from their catalog:
Logan Lucky, Portrait of a Lady on Fire, Another Round, Hell or High Water, Intermission, I Daniel Blake, Sunshine, Sweet Virginia, The Nice Guys, Prisoners, Hello I Must Be Going, Let The Sun Shine In, Mud, In A World, It's A Disaster, High Rise
They shifted about a year ago - used to have an "Independent" category on movies that was absolutely killer - and are now losing a bit of their curation to mainstream interests, but I've always been really impressed by what they have.
