Trailer here nicely skirts most of the plot of the film, which is good because it would ruin it while it does make it look less interesting than it is.

went to see this with my wife yesterday, she had no idea what it was or what it was about.
For the first 1/3 it was super awkward being in a crowded theatre because of all the crazy sex and nudity...I felt she was going to get up and leave at any second lol
the next 1/3 was just hilarious.
the final 1/3 was poignant and probably what sealed the Palm d'or
if you're going to watch it with your significant other I say watch it at home in bed ;)

Really good. The performances are great, Fiennes is magnificent. It reminded me a l little of 12 Angry men. It looks lovely, if a little contrived in certain shots. It’s not for everyone, particularly those looking for action. You may see it up for some Oscars. Would recommend.

Will 2025 be the year that the superhero blockbuster fad finally starts to fade away?
Joker 2 was a bomb. The new Superman looks like a big try-hard that will fizzle. Workers in the movie industry are struggling. Power is concentrated into a few studio execs, not creatives. Everything about money.
Are we finally passing this god awful era in cinema?
It seems to me there should be a new generation hitting the peak movie-going age and they’ll want something, anything different.

I really enjoy Luca Guadagnino's work. This was no exception. Daniel Craig is fantastic and Jason Swartzman delivers one of the funniest performances i've witnessed this year. It's consistently visually mesmerising and coupled with Atticus and Trents great soundtrack it's a film that will be better seen in a theatre. Plenty of references for Burroughs fans too. Bloody great. Watch it if you can.
