Hi all,
So, I've got my wedding rapidly approaching in June, and the good lady and I are ticking off jobs to do.
We're now looking into our music for the day and I'm looking for any suggestions? I don't listen to a huge amount outside of what I currently have on my iTunes - which contains an awful lot of rock/metal (guilty pleasure) and so not really wedding material!
Has anyone been to or had their wedding recently that could provide suggestions that'll suit a wide range of people?
Instead of being hugely formal (no four-string quartets here) the fiance and I are looking at the day as 'the best summer get together' we can put on. Basically have everyone we care about in one place having a great time. So we're after songs to put people in a good-feel mood throughout the day - whilst eating/early evening/late evening etc...
Any help would be fantastic guys!

Not wanting to sound crass but it's your wedding and your guests who none of us know so it's difficult to know if a Creedence Clearwater marathon would or wouldn't go down well.
We got a DJ for our wedding party which was basically a big party because we got married abroad with a few family & friends then had a big get together when we got back and he played quite a lot of rock stuff (we were pretty clear we didn't want chart music etc) and it worked out pretty well but we were confident our friends/guests would enjoy it.
- that's all cool buddy, I think I'm beginning to clutch at straws! maybe eloping would be simpler :-)Not_Just_Another
- Don't sweat it. Just remember everyone is there to celebrate your wedding not your music choices!jamble

Hire a small jazz band. Wedding DJ's make it feel like a high school prom.
