Maybe marketing uses web-based products to function interactively?
- if it's a helium balloon with a logo on it you can hold it's interactive.airey
- especially if it has a logo saying 'inhale here'lukus_W
- then it's awesome.airey
- Functional AND entertaining. It's win-win.Continuity

depends on the size of the group of cooks but to me there are always too many cooks in the kitchen. i think there should be a head chef and the rest of the douches just do their part and only their part so the final result is not a design by committee shit fest of a website.

Anyone who doesn't have a solid foot in web-technology and production, and marketing, needs to leave the room now.

web based applications.
I would say web based products is the closestfurthermore interactive marketing ... is web based interactive marketing. Like saying land based road - although I'm not clear on which words or semantics are tripping you guys up
- just trying to define marketing versus product. The double dip word was just for clarity.brandon_phillip

Sounds like you're having a serious Dilbert moment in that office.
Web Apps = products, doesn't matter if they're web-based or not. If they're being sold (or given away, I suppose) and consumed, they're products.
Interactive marketing = marketing. Just like a TVC. Just like a radio spot. Just like a poster. Just like someone giving you a takeaway swag-bag.
You can do some interactive marketing for your web-based product if you like, but the terms are not mutually exchangable; one != the other.
- I feel the Dilbert thing. Maybe I just need to get up and leave.brandon_phillip

Marketing is the promotion of a product; TV, radio, print, outdoor, experiential and interactive are all vehicles on which the marketing message is delivered.
