I just went though an entire year in a half of ridiculous shit like that. Same language, projecting to companies that I can stepping down, being told by my peers to simplify resume, etc.
The reality: When it's a fit, its a fit. The good guys don't spew lame ass language at you like that.
Always suggest a test run as well to people when you sit with them. "Let's see how I fit with you before making big decisions" should be the new perspective of job hunting.

Got about the same shit here. After what I would have said was one of my most successful interviews.
Hi [me]-
I wanted to update you on the status of our search for a new Designer. After a lengthy search and much deliberation and consideration, we have offered the position to the candidate that best suited the position, and they have accepted.[owner] and [account manager] very much enjoyed meeting you and were impressed with your work. We appreciate the time and effort you put forth to do the interview.
Your application for the position will be kept confidential. We wish you all the best in your career and at [where I work]. As discussed, we have high regard for everyone there, and the work and wish you well.
Regards,
[receptionist]- feels pretty copy and paste, but the interview lasted a few hours and was more a chat if anything elsetymeframe
