is not about "fear of burning a book" is the intentions behind it.
he said "this is to demonstrate muslims extremist that we are not going to stand for it" and then he says, all non muslims extremist should understand that this has nothing to do with them and should join us into burning their book.You are out to piss everyone off, and hide behind your own interpretation of what "god would have wanted", this guy is a loony, in fact his actions only demonstrate that he is an extremist himself.
And now, by canceling it, the world's biggest coward.
Religion, now more than ever is a sensitive issue and most likely an excuse to fight over who has it right, and in these times, and on that specific date... come on..

I'm not surprised that guys like Terry Jones exist - I'm pretty sure that he's representative of a great many people, who all have a similar low degree of intellectual prowess and an axe to grind.
However, I am surprised that this story's attracted such a huge amount of coverage from the international media .. part of me thinks that spreading his message constitutes the bigger crime.
