I have this address to put onto an envelope

Awfully close to me.
Ward, etc, first would be the Japanese thing to do.
But with roman letters it's perfectly fine writing street first.kamimeguro 5-16-12

153-0051 JapanYou could make it easier by omitting the building name...
"gurando ekuseru" is hard to read.And Yuutenzi is actually Yuutenji
Omit like so

153-0051 Japanor, if you think your post office will be cool just understanding it is for Japan
