We have a few clients that are pissed off that they are not on our website.
The thing is, although they spend a bit of money, its on hundreds of shitty little jobs.
Whats the right thing to do here?

hmmm decline politely,
or ask them if you could put a sticker of your agency on their car.
- maikel0
Put a small neat logo with no link. It's not gonna kill you, aye?
(and you have one more happy client that will carry on spending good tosh on million shitty jobs).

Buy another domain, put your current portfolio on it, except with their work online too. Tell them you've changed web domains and that's your new portfolio.
Send everyone else links to your actual portfolio.
Clients Happy, You're Happy.- < that's a fucking stupid thing to do.meffid

Tell them to get a life.
OR be honoured that they think that many people visit your website.

Get a tattoo, they'd be floored.

They probably will end up on the site but surely they realise why they aren't up there now.. Kind of like inviting your self over someone's house though no?
- clearly you do not realize we also read QBN.TheClient

- oh, ahem "hi", TheClient.
Sorry about that contact form thing.mikotondria3

damn nice work it is on your site, too

Add jCarousel with logos and title above "Clients that pay us for hundreds of shitty little jobs"

This isn't even a question. Be nice to your client. Stick them on. It will make them very happy and like you, and it will cost you nothing.
I can't believe you even pondered this no-brainer for even a second.

Um... are you saying you don't want to promote your work? I am assuming you are proud of what you did and may actually lead to additional business. I note forty-four separate clients listed on your site; now, unless the client in question wouldn't look so good placed beside one of your religious clients (say Butthole Busters x Braemar Presbyterian Care) I don't really understand your level of concern. Besides there might come the day those hundreds of shitty little jobs may just keep you afloat, all for a little ego stroking.

- good point but i'm not sure he specified what the customer wanted on the site...adumbratesly

maybe this client thinks that links from people who go to your site will be sooo much google juice it will help his SEO

Put their logo on the logo page and politely explain your showcase / folio is for high end work and full campaigns... and if they should want to give you some high end work, you're more than happy to display it. Until then, every little banner and piece of shit EDM can fuck off.
- Sounds like a plan.slappy
- @meffid... ouch dude - why piss off a *paying* customer?adumbratesly
- I thought it was reasonable.meffid
- i_monk0
Ask them if their shitty little jobs look like they belong next to what's on display already.
- Miguex0
why would they be pissed they are not on your site? I don't understand. That's like you being pissed at your best friend for not having hardwood floors on their home.
Ultimately is your decision, I can understand if you put them on your site and they request to be taken down, but the other way around? that's insane..
- JSK0
I would put them on there in a tasteful manner. These small grunt work that amounts to larger sum. And they support the cool random stuff.
- dbloc0
put them on a side page that you can't get to from anywhere.
- duhsign0
if their logo isn't hideous just add it to your clients page with all the logos and forget about it, no ones paying too close attention to that page. if the logo sucks make a case with them to hire you to update their logo.
