Add jCarousel with logos and title above "Clients that pay us for hundreds of shitty little jobs"
- noob123450
Ignore their request.

This isn't even a question. Be nice to your client. Stick them on. It will make them very happy and like you, and it will cost you nothing.
I can't believe you even pondered this no-brainer for even a second.

Um... are you saying you don't want to promote your work? I am assuming you are proud of what you did and may actually lead to additional business. I note forty-four separate clients listed on your site; now, unless the client in question wouldn't look so good placed beside one of your religious clients (say Butthole Busters x Braemar Presbyterian Care) I don't really understand your level of concern. Besides there might come the day those hundreds of shitty little jobs may just keep you afloat, all for a little ego stroking.
- Every job you do doesn't need to be in your portfolio.Josev
- good point but i'm not sure he specified what the customer wanted on the site...adumbratesly

tell them you'll put it to your board of directors and they'll make the final decision as to what's shown in the portfolio.
- doesnotexist0
do a re-brand case study and show that.

Put their logo on the logo page and politely explain your showcase / folio is for high end work and full campaigns... and if they should want to give you some high end work, you're more than happy to display it. Until then, every little banner and piece of shit EDM can fuck off.
- Sounds like a plan.slappy
- @meffid... ouch dude - why piss off a *paying* customer?adumbratesly
- I thought it was reasonable.meffid

Do they have "erotica" in their name?

Charge them. Call it advertising.
- i_monk0
Ask them if their shitty little jobs look like they belong next to what's on display already.
- adumbratesly0
ffs... why are there so many comments proposing deceitful practices and outright lying and generalized nonsensical suggestions... you guys can do better than that... proposed: end of thread: GET YOUR HEAD OUT OF YOUR ASS, YOU ARE GETTING PAID, SHOW SOME FUCKING RESPECT, POST ONE STUPID ICON/LOGO AND MOVE THE FUCK ALONG.

Say yes.
They are in a folder named "Work that sucks". In It, explains the difference between what was presented and what was elected.

I have plenty of client work where im ashamed to even say i had any involvement in at all and its the clients or parent agencies fault. fuck em. sometimes I wonder why clients even look for designers, writers or directors in the first place. I had a meeting with this local country band here in Mexico last week, it was pretty hillarious. "we want to be different from all the other bands, thats why were coming to you for a video, but we want to play near stacks of hay and in the corn fields, and we like to be directly involved with our director in all aspects of the video from concept to post, and we only want to pay around $5k even though we own a chain of jewelry stores" - potential client
acting like the meeting never took place - me- Good to know I'm not the only one.Josev
- Just like those two guys who ran a music store I did website for. Never had money even if one was loaded.raf
- His family was rich, but "he didn't want this to influence the partnership". So he'd drive in a Range Rover, raf
- talk about his $2K bicycle and at the end of the conversation ask for patience, cause they had no money.raf
- It was years ago, they still owe me something like $200. The store folded for all I know.raf

"Dear TheClient,
I am sorry, but we simply cannot put you on our website for free. Our other clients that are currently shown have paid us $500 a month to be shown on our website as free advertising.
If you are interested in joining this promotional partnership, please us know though.
Cheers,
The Agency"

Put the name on there without the work.

why would they be pissed they are not on your site? I don't understand. That's like you being pissed at your best friend for not having hardwood floors on their home.
Ultimately is your decision, I can understand if you put them on your site and they request to be taken down, but the other way around? that's insane..
