love it, works perfectly fine. no crashes, no issues, feels smooth and quick. I only have applications that have been updated for lion so no app issues.
haven't found any problems or bugs

I can't seem to find a built-in Anti-Virus and Anti-Spyware software in the Application folder like Security Essentials in Windows 7.

Tried it, it sucks, not liking the fact that it wants me to buy new shit, GFY Jobs.

Anyone already tried CS5 / 5.5 running on Lion? Any minor or fucked up issues?
- I've had none and I've used Photoshop and illustrator a good bit.antagonista
- 5.5 seems good, though we haven't updated at work, what with AE and Avid and suchdecisionman

Lion forced document versioning drives me nuts. Closing a file now equals saving it in the most recent state and wasting your hard drive with all past states.
I hope when Adobe implements it they will give an option to turn that crap off.

I heard font support is a bit wonky if you're using a font manager. confirm?
- I have latest version of extensis 3 and i have no issuesBozMan

I like it. I also don't mind the reverse scroll because now its the same as on the iphone and ipad. a $30 OS upgrade beats a $299 $399 or $499 upgrade any day.
- If they charged > $100 for this upgrade shit would have hit the fan.oddslob
- it seems the one saving grace is that lion only cost $30. Hard to keep complaining at that price.oddslob
- New scroll is good. My grandparents and grandparents never understood the old scroll direction.ismith
- @ismith interesting. second nature to me but my mom, not so much. Its strange to watch them learn/fumble.shellie

I like it. Honestly it just seems like a slight upgrade to leopard. I like mission control and find it a lot easier and simpler than expose/dashboard/spaces– which after some time I've seemed to just use spaces and forgot about the other features.
3 finger swipes between desktops is cool. I find myself doing a half swipe a lot to take a peak at my email. also great for viewing a tutorial in safari and switching between PS quickly.
fullscreen is ehhhh for safari (don't like to view sites that wide) but works well with other programs.
I love the UI tweaks.
CS5 seems to run just fine (although I haven't put in a full work day on it yet).
Honestly after I installed it I messed with mission control, launchpad and got used to the new gestures.... and after that didn't really notice anything else that changed drastically. I'm a bit underwhelmed.

I want to press the scroll button to activate dashboard. I've ALWAYS had it like this. How the fuck do I do it? Mouse prefs have normal tracking and speed etc and no scroll button function.

I'm not a fan of a lot of things in Lion: interface lag, launch pad, auto save, versioning, local time machine. Seems like a lot of crap and cruft getting made in the file system.

I got it on my new MBP last month and don't mind it too much. I wish that Spaces hadn't been messed with, but that's my only real gripe.

The UI tweaks are great, like the spotlight rollover previews. I also really like mission control.
I was really disappointed with the app launcher until I took the painstaking time to organize it (slowly) and hide all the bullshit.
The full screen shit cracked me up, I've been using that since win 3.1. However, after realizing that full screening at app essentially breaks it into its own desktop space, allowing me to swipe between apps, I really like it a lot. I keep a track pad to the last of my keyboard and use it only for multitouch and it's pretty great.
I forgot to check, does the QuickTime player still force the controls ontop of the playing video? That's the most annoying shit ever.
The funny part about this whole thread is how Mac users can quibble over details now because the os has evolved so far.

iPad autocorrect still blows.... hard. Read my above post to witness.

There's a big issue with Safari 5.1, it unloads tabs from memory randomly (or when the OS feels it needs memory) like the iOS devices do, meaning: if you had GMail opened in a tab and notice you have replies on a conversation (chat) once you click the goddamned tab it reloads the whole page losing your chat.
It goes without saying how this breaks many sites that load stuff dynamically through ajax, I hope this is a bug or they allow this to be turned off because it's pure crap. That or I'll switch to Chrome at least there's that...

This could be just a coincidence, but ever since I upgraded to Lion, Microsoft Messenger for Mac tends to disconnect often. No internet connection problems though. Anyone else having similar problems?

It seems faster than Snow Leopard but it crashes a lot and is as buggy as windows.

"Any why is there yet another way to launch an app and switch between windows? Expose, Mission Control"
Expose doesn't exist along side Mission Control, MC is just the all windows expose mixed with spaces.
Worst thing for me is Preview and the mouse acceleration. Preview used to open fast and do it's job perfect, now it's hit and miss if it opens or not, and it opens a bunch of shit you last looked at and exporting a jpeg version has become a 5 step process thanks to Versions/Autosave
