Really it is twitter's fault and blackberry.

British police doesn't look scary at all, infact they look funny with their round hats and pretty white shirts. Don't they have more scary looking armed teams like SWAT with high pressure water cannon panzers. Look at Israel they kill protesters with bulldozers.

Riot map.... scary....

Pathetic really. Mob mentality at its finest. If you asked 10 rioters why they're doing this, you'd get 10 different answers.

I bet most would answer "because I can"

Why can't ppl all be Japanese? Stores open unattended no looting. Or be like the Gilians (Indonesia), no one steals ur bike even theres 0 cop in the islands.

At what point do you send the police in?
Hopefully they're doing their boots up as we speak.Peckham's my home town, it's had a rough ride and this is going to set it back to square one. I know the mentality of the people who are doing this having grown up in the area, they're lost, angry and bored.
There is a lot of blame to be spread around here. The parents, the government, the banks, the list goes on.
Truly sad day.
- no one is to blame apart from themselves. We all decide our own actions. These actions are simply and unarguably wrong.set

Didn't they have something live half-million people protesting the cuts just a few weeks ago... That didn't seam to accomplish anything. So what do you want people to do then? People on the top (corporate leaders, banks, politicians in bed with corporations) loot their country all the time - it becomes such a common knowledge that it's hardly surprising that people want to get part of the action.

Holy shit the fire in Walthan Abbey is fucking insane. There's gonna be a death toll to go with all this.
