I read an article every once in a while about people who get laid off and can't get a new job because they're older and then they go on welfare or something.
Fuck those people. There's always jobs. Work retail or something. You have a college degree and experience but are too proud to get a job just because tech companies and other fields are only looking for younger people? There's always ways to make money.

Only mild punches here: people who only shoot photos with a mobile phone and talk about themselves like they're professional photographers, refer to their blurry, generic, dime-a-dozen Facebook folders of photos as "my work," and have no self-awareness or ability to critique themselves to improve. Yet they're out there bragging about having 10x10" framed photos to sell, acting like a poorly cropped photo of city traffic and a building is compelling in some way.
