WW3 is happening already. Has been for a number of years.
War has changed. There's no point in looking for evidence of it in ration books and propaganda posters. That's the past.
The amount of military finance, hardware and personel deployed over the last ten years dwarfs world war 2. It probably dwarfs both world wars for all I know.

As-Safir said Prince Bandar pledged to safeguard Russia’s naval base in Syria if the Assad regime is toppled, but he also hinted at Chechen terrorist attacks on Russia’s Winter Olympics in Sochi if there is no accord. “I can give you a guarantee to protect the Winter Olympics next year.
