- Damn @ page break.ideaist
- if it's anything like the lpk25 the keyboard is horrible, like dead skinhans_glib
- @hans_glib? SOOO just cheap? No weight / feel to it? Please elaborate bro!!!ideaist

- IMO stay away from flimsy AKAI stuff, and also Native Instruments tuff as hardware also tied in misc ways to their software products...prophetone
- If I were you I'd get a Launchkey 37 - more open to all generic daw needs, built with better quality, cleaner design w/o godawful red accents etcprophetone

- There's also the 25 key model: https://novationmusi…prophetone
- Stay away from the 'mini keys' stuff unless it's a secondary for traveling around, liveprophetone
- Amazing advice/wisdom(s); used to know this s**t, BUT that was years ago...ideaist
- i'm not sure what else to add beyond "it's like dead skin". says it all really. imagine pressing on a dead body. cold, saggy no feedback, and the rest.hans_glib
- as prophetone says, fine for travel, but otherwise it sits on the shelf, unwanted, unloved.hans_glib
- I have previous model of the Launchkey 37 and for the $250 I think I paid for it it's good value, doesn't feel like like an overly-light toy w/ too-small keysprophetone

Based on above feedback, how about a more full fledged 49 key offering from either:
Arturia
https://www.arturia.com/products…
OR
Novation
- I was raised on a full size keyboard SOOO I may miss the octave range, BUT again I want something small-ish and affordable-ish.
Thanks bros!!!ideaist - arturia make proper quality gear. tho i've always had roland, so i use an a-49.hans_glib
- which is basically tech-speak for "ignore everything i say, as i'm nothing more than a cheapskate amateur"hans_glib

ideaist,
None of those. Get a Nektar Panorama T4, especially if you want more DAW control.
I have one and love it. Their software called Nektarine is a little hard to get used to at first, but you can essentially use Nektarine in the instrument slot on something like Logic Pro, add your software instrument, and any plugins into the one view to really nicely customize sounds, set up knob controls, etc.

- you want pads? too bad.futurefood

- yeaaaaaah but nah.. it looks amazing, but its Moog's first China built synth.. not to hate, but im sure in 3 years time it diesautoflavour
- @mort! Hahah great sketchfuturefood
- @Auto, that may have been true in the past. But China is now making superiorly inferior style electronics.futurefood

- get out of my dreams and into my car!futurefood
- So cool they did this, personally I would be all over it but gotta be honest with self, I already have some old boxes like DX and MXRprophetone
- I did jump on the Behringer 909 as that was a no brainer, but this thing would be great for a new wavy retro live artist imoprophetone
- Hence, the video I guess, but the beauty of this is at its new gear and stable versus something 40 years old and fragile, good for gigsprophetone

Do any of you use EZDrummer 3?
I've been using Addictive Drums 2 for a while, but started exploring EZ 3. I'm debating buying it and their post rock kit because it just sounds so good compared other the jazz kit and Fairfield 2 kit that I have in AD2.
