- cant find if theres anyone still working on it...mantrakid
- Looks really coolcruddlebub
- Yeah followed OTTA project from early days, watched the Discord, bought all of the components to build the beta unit THENNN they aborted mission, went non-diyprophetone
- *OTTO ... and was a shame because me and other didn't want to buy pcbs and build a closed kit, it was about the basic diy build for meprophetone
- About a month ago I checked out the Discord and it was rampant spam links littered through threads so I guess the project died during covidprophetone
- that being said there is a github repo so one could make something from it... but yeah suspended projectprophetone
- https://www.matrixsy…prophetone
- This was the unit I WAS going to build out, was so cool and clean https://www.instagra…prophetone
- fuck so radddd... bummer that it fell apart...mantrakid

Listen to THESE HEAVY HEARTS... by COSMSTRUCT. on #SoundCloud
https://on.soundcloud.com/BXkgTI was alone all day today on my birthday, wife was at work, my Gran died over the weekend. Had a bit of a quiet day to reflect. This may sound sinister or dark. But I like dark...

https://open.spotify.com/track/0…
Newest release on Spotify too...
- Prefer the Cosmstruct works that have a beat/suggested beat/percussion. Nice sounds tho.microkorg
- Noted! I always try and fit one in but sometimes they don't work...cruddlebub
- Any input/ideas/feedback welcomecruddlebub
- Dark is always good :)microkorg

Do any of you use Addictive Drums 2? That's what I use for drums in Logic Pro. Aside from wanting some tips and thoughts about a few things, they were the one plugin I use that has been as ugly as sin, and has FINALLY been updated. Pretty good UI update.
Old:
New:
- nice - yeah the old one looked like it was from a 1999 winamp skin haha. New looks fresh and clean!mantrakid
- Way nicer, looks like Massive/Xprophetone
- WinAmp skin! You are totally right. :Dmg33
- prophetone1
- Had an investment that doubled in days. So I might be able to do a sneak purchase of one of these without it being a trackable drain on our bank account ;)microkorg
- want one soo bad but will never be able to justify it enough to pull the triggerletterhead
- They're amazing looking machines, my bro Jack has yet to inform of how good they are, but he said he needed to tell me in person... He may have one!cruddlebub
- Fun & overpriced. But fun.jagara
- A bud has the op-1 and loves it BUT it’s a toy. This is ID, audiophile, design porn; JUST the grey gradient (GREYdient) gives me chills!!!ideaist
- This won't hit the mark for some. But for me this is a perfect little device. As pick-up-and-jam as the OP-1 but with usable sequencersmicrokorg
- and live playability and punch-in/tweakable effects and p-locks. So, deep like an elektron but far far simpler to use.microkorg
- When I had it the OP-1 was my most used device cos it was the most fun, satisfying and easy to use. I always regret selling it...microkorg
- ..but its downfall was that everything had to be 'committed'. so any kind of live jamming or performance was restricted and mostly just tape playback.microkorg
- Nice perspective(s) @microkorg; TE seem to make high end toys for audiophiles SOOO I'm 100% in always.ideaist
- Want to love the OP-1 .. puchased then sold.. then purchased again.. and in process of selling.. again. The whole tape thing is not the droidautoflavour
- and for $3500 AUD .. I would rather just save the extra $1500 and buy a Moog Muse or something usefulautoflavour
- not that i have $3500 .. or $1500 .. or space for a moog muse.. or time to play itautoflavour
- Auto, if i'd had the means I'd likely have bought the OP-1 again, then sold it (repeat) too.microkorg
- look i picked up the second one for $1k .. and currently struggling to sell it for $950 .. a few tire kickers but no biters yet.. had it for 2 years thoautoflavour

When I'm sober I am a guy who makes house music on a laptop sometimes.
When I'm drunk I'm a musician.

- For making House Harkonnen musicprophetone
- hahahah trippymantrakid

- *cough cough owns both, uses neitherautoflavour

My bro Jack said they had over 5 hours worth of footage for the OP-XY.. hence this being a 2 hour long video!
- ive actually been scrounging pennies so i can buy this. I have even considered selling the S-4. this is what ive become.mantrakid
- Ah I understand. I can imagine, personally, they'd be an amazing pair, but it's down to how you use the s4 I suppose. And if you don't... Sell it.cruddlebub
- They look worth a pretty penny or 5 but they're still too expensivecruddlebub
- which is Jack? sorry not to be blunt but i find the guy in the hat insufferable ..autoflavour
- 1000% all gear no idea, lets get a bag at 9pm after 2 quiet beers kind of guy, chew your ear off over why the latest whatever is the best with zero understandinautoflavour
- video critique aside, i want one so hard.. but for $3500 AUD, i am going to buy new monitors firstautoflavour
- No way autoflavor haha -- Jacks the man, and his enthusiasm has single handedly caused me to get excited about many a gear hahamantrakid
- Haha jack mag come across as being incredibly unknowledgeable but he's the opposite. Remember he's showing these machines for a shop so he has to be...cruddlebub
- A bit pushy... But he's got his own studio in his house. Hes also a fanboy for TE. he also goes in blind for each new bit of tech so his reactions are all real.cruddlebub
- He's super Down to earth too. Couldn't meet a nicer chap.cruddlebub
- Thought this was a good showcase of the device from what ive watched so far - about halfway through.microkorg
- The TE guy wrote the manual for it so knows it well. The generative demo track was pretty interesting.microkorg
- Jack named him "the human manual" so that's why! Haha I'm about half way through too. Don't ask mantrakid if he bought one off the back of this vid!cruddlebub
- My poor credit card. My poor, poor credit card. Xmas day gonna be lit thomantrakid
- Oh man I can't wait! And you're 1000s of miles away from me! Hahahaa Christmas day stream or no?cruddlebub

im gear lusting.. after upgrading pretty much my entire right, new computer, new interface, new monitor switch, power conditioner..
the last piece of that puzzle is some new monitors..
had the same Yamaha HS80's since 2010 and they are fine, but i know they arent telling me everything..currently drooling over the Barefoot Footprint 03 ..
Or a pair of Genelecs.. but i have a single Genelec 8040a as a Alternate monitor on my switch so was hoping to diversify..dont suppose any of you have barefoots?
- my entire rigautoflavour
- gah, not that photo.. was just correcting my typo.. carry onautoflavour
- those are adorablekingsteven
- I’m not looking for power but clarity. If I need it loud I just switch to my Yamaha DXR 15Mk2 PA speaker. I want better mixes not hearing problemsautoflavour
- Three way monitors with 6 inch for under $3500.. best in class .. shame I’m like $1700 short currentlyautoflavour

I played with a friends OB-4 last week AND OMG what a fun device; simple, focused AND extremely satisfying:
I. Looping any bluetooth, radio, etc. sample into its internal "tape" allowing me to pitch shift, change loop length, speed, etc. I was lost for hours between old and new music!
II. Their is no audio out SOOO it feels very "live" and spontaneous. You can always record it into a mic.
III. I understand the primary function has been ported to other TE devices which is very cool.
The OB-4 feels like a tool AND a you.
: )
- They produce some amazing thingscruddlebub
- The OB-4 feels like a tool AND a TOY!!!
Fuckin' impulsive, NON editor brain.
; )ideaist - I want that speakerfuturefood

Rediscovering the Sylenth VST synth. It has an incredibly analog sound to it. Zingy and raw and present are words that come to mind. Easily stacks up against an OB-6.

Thoughts on this for my primary (and mini) midi controller?! I want it to be portable BUT capable AND relatively inexpensive...
NO Teenage Engineering budget for my hobby... YET!!!
