How is the bird doing?

the bird's doing really well; i found a hummingbird specialist and took him to her place yesterday. she's got this huge house and every room is devoted to a different stage of the hummingbird's life... once they "graduate" from one stage of learning and being raised she transfers them to another room. she had hundreds of them...
i plan on bringing her a gift and checking in on him in a couple weeks

not really, but any little high pitched sound i hear i think is a peep and i get an urge to feed something. then i'm all, "oh." :(
feels weird not having the little guy on my desk but i'm glad he's in better hands than mine. i was a little nervous about acclimating him to the wild, which is going to be a concern real soon

a very good read for those interested in totems,
the thing is that totem in the american part of the world is viewed mostly as positive and protective forces but where I come from totems are mostly used to do arm or protect you from someone trying to arm you with another totem,watch kirikou to have an idea, its a children's cartoon btw

i did; he joined the dozens of other hummers the bird lady was caring for and she said all of them were healthy. i imagine by now he's out in the wild somewhere, having learned to hunt and fly...
