Did any of you do the CO2 challenge and HUF! HUF! HUF!, exhale completely, to the limit of your lungs, then absolutely inhale the remnant gas from a large bottle of coke (or, in my case, Irn-Bru)?
Then your head goes hot and dizzy and you feel woozy, then after exhalation of dead gasm inhale sweet beautiful oxygen more massively than you ever did before?
Looking back, I was *always* going to be at least slightly interested in drugs.
- I did it a couple of years ago with a finished bottle of sparkling water. It's still got a kick.Nairn
- dad gasm? lol. Perhaps.
'dead gas, 'Nairn - oh ffs - dad gasm?! nngh.
the older i get, the worser i rite.Nairn - See ^this is why you shouldn't huff CO2 as a 14 year old.Nairn
- Council nitrous. Every bottle of lime flavoured panda pop had a little added bonus.Morning_star

This movie is an insane distillation of 90s style
I had never seen this Gene Hackman movie (and I love Gene Hackman)...but only in the last 1/3! LOL
This movie is thoroughly drenched in 90s style, to a comical degree...All these dudes with their hair done up in ridiculous ways....fake computer enhancement of images....bad 3D animation of satellites flying around the world...and Will Smith.
And the cast! All acting as cliche as you can imagine
Jake Busey - Jack Black - Lisa Bonet - Jon Voight - Scott Caan - Jason Lee - Gabriel Byrne - Anna Gunn!Only watch for comic effect
- oi! it's a great film - a classic tony scott movie. and gene hackman's character riffs off his earlier work in "the conversation"hans_glib
- I thought the opening scene was pretty realistic, though and considering this was well before 9/11. The writer was on to something.nb
- Jon Voight is completely styled to look like Robert McNamara in this.nb
- Great ahead-of-its-time action thriller, over the top à la Tony Scott but he always delivered and knew how to grab your attention from start to finish.spl33nidoru
- and... Lisa Bonet !_me_
