So, pro gun people, do you think we should allows guns on planes in case there's a terrorist attack? Or does the act of allowing guns on planes allow terrorists to stage an attack?
That's a tough one... :P
- I am sure you wish you and others had one if you where hijacked. tough one :-)yurimon
- Hell no! No guns except for the Air Marshall. Period.ETM
- A panicked citizen with a gun on the plane firing through the fuselage could down the plane quicker than the hijacker.ETM
- Sure, but the same could be true in a lot of situationsukit2
- There could be plenty of collateral damage defending yourself in a theatreukit2
- Guns for everyone! Fire at the windows! Oh shit!prophetone
- Don't be daft - everyone, incl. terrorists, should be made to swap guns for swords before entering a plane. Much safer.detritus

I am not pro gun really. I never owned a gun. Thinking about it. However I did alot of soul searching about freedom.
It all comes down to the values and morality of a society. Freedom is made for the moral and responsible. Your society is only as good as the quality of being who occupies the space.
However you can be deceived, indoctrinated and conditioned.
You can go back into bondage. That is the struggle of all time.No other system lifted a society out of poverty like the freedom property system. No situation is perfect but if your free, you can protect yourself.
Remember all rights are based on property rights. You own yourself, Not the state like other socialized places. and whats it all good for if you cant defend it. Doesnt make sense if you can own yourself and land. all that makes you life, liberty and happiness when all you can do is stand there when someone decides to commit a crime to take it away. Thats the bottom line.
- well put. but i have to wonder about the consequences of having lethal weapons in the hands of dumbasses.prophetone
- how are dumbasses made?yurimon
- with cold hard steel projectile firing weaponry sonprophetone

I am pro gun.
But I'm not for hate, ignorance and shortsightedness.Seems the problem is, the majority of pro gun people seem to hate other "groups" of people and or seem to be stocking up for some kind of war.
Why can't folks just use guns for hunting & recreation without it being a fucking issue?
- ukit20
I just think there needs to be common sense at some point. It seems like some of you are against almost all gun restrictions. At the same time you can see the logic in not allowing guns on planes.
So imagine if we applied this same "criminals don't follow laws, so why have them" philosophy and did allow guns on planes.
Obviously it would be a disaster. You'd probably have a plane hijacking every few months...kind of like the near monthly mass shootings in America.
Laws do have value in deterring crime. We don't need to think that anything other than total freedom is tyrannical.

Your assuming you know what is the real cause of a mass shooting.
How does a broke medical student acquire about 20K in equipment including a police helmet, knowledge to make a bomb, supposed explosives, etc.? I dont know...
Why are all the shooters, columbine, giffords, and batman shooter under heavy medication? What medication are they on.
Who do these people know and who were they in contact with?
Can you answer these questions. Reality is not as simple as watching the news. Thats how you get brain washed and coincidentally come up with the same conclusion as the propaganda.
You dont want to be a useful idiot, there are too many of those around. Everyone who expanded energy into making the russian revolution happen was useful idiot, professors, students, poor people. All for a promise. The promise was lets give up your rights for the power of the state and we will take care of you. what was "peace, land and bread". what happened? Wealth transfer to the state and bureaucrats,
everyone was enslaved by the state and few oligarchs of the communist party had a free ride and no rights = 20 million dead. There were no checkpoint before on airlines. how many flight to no checkpoints. I am sure people carried guns on flights. You could have bought anything through. When where the first check points on planes? how many flights without problems?
Its seems the airplane problem coincide more with a stupid foreign policy then guns itself...

"So sad
http://www.naturalnews.com/03680…"relevance?
– locustsloth1/2"yes, clever. let's pin this on the teabagger argument of the stupidity of government and why we need guns to protect our "property rights". I see you cleverly avoid the larger issue - as to why water rights are suddenly being enforced in odd corners of the nation - via lobbying of the big energy/fracking industry who need enormous water rights to do their business as water grows scarce. How come out of nowhere some guy fighting for his water right property in bumfuck oregon has some hundred year old law be applied to his land depriving him his rights. I bet if you google "fracking" and "oregon" you'll probably find your answer. Or it's agribusiness. (In Or. prob that) It has nothing to do with government and everything to do with corporate lobbies capture of government to ensure the little guy is fucked from using the power of government to protect the rights that government previously secured for the little guy's property. One dollar=one vote these days you know.
Go get your gun and shoot up Shell or Monsanto. Oh wait, you'll be a "lone wolf whacko tree-hugger environmental terrorist" then, right? All about property rights, indeed. Your target is wrong though.
If you cant figure it out then lord have mercy on us all... lol
- yurimon0
The Relevance is that there is a bigger picture here. There is a power grab and centralization of power. exact opposite of what freedom is. There is an obvious chiseling of of peoples rights and at the same time propaganda campaigns based on Hegelian dialectic (look it up). Hegelianism. using the words like teabagger already shows an individual who is a victim of mental sheep herding. Its divide and conquer. Study fascist, socialist, communist subversion techniques. as a start maybe.
Its to much to try to cover in one post but,
try this as a start with the link below, maybe if you want.- So when tea baggers call the President a socialist Muslim, is that also Hegelian?ukit2
- seriously, who gives a shit. besides, rihanna already sorted this out for us, just live your life, ayyy oo ayyy oo ayyy oooprophetone
- I live my life thank you very much for concern. go back to sleep.yurimon
- If you study and research maybe you can find the answer for yourself instead of being spoon fed. Can you do that?yurimon
