And I dare say, possibly the best remix Pete ever did. Everything about this is so on point, the way it builds, the filtered bassline, the respectful pg lyrics... more importantly though the way it takes me back to better times.
This is real hip hop.

I've had an 89tek9 rip of this for years, with Stretch talking over it... and I gotta say I like this dodgy 'n raw version better than the LP version.
Maybe it just always represented that New York sound I have been drawn to since i bought my first 12's in 88ish, and it's kinda magical at the same time thanks to a west coast MJ haha.
I have contemplated re-creating the instrumental of this to have a proper quality 'studio' version - not sure if anyone has had the same idea...
