wow, mono, then you complain when we call you a fanboy,
this isn't even fanboyism anymore, it's creepy
-
so far, I have 2 macs, 2 working pc, a hackintosh, a rasberry pi, even a web os tablet/mutant cyanogen android and another android tablet,
I love all my system equally and use them because I work with them,
stop being such a fuckn fanboy, please,
my nigga :)- This sums it up perfectly. Well said.fadein11
- I hate Apple products and that's why I don't use them. They're so inferior.monospaced
- Not a single thing I said above can be confused as fanboyism.monospaced
- monospaced0
I just finished saying how Apple computers are SHIT and that still qualifies me as a fanboy? I don't understand you. Macs are shit, Mac users are clearly retarded for buying them, and the line of iOS products are the worst on the planet. They're so crap that they SCRATCH if they fall, and the glass screens even break. And don't get me started on Maps. Can you believe those jerks have the nerve to sell a PHONE that can't even get maps right? Everyone who buys their products is delusional and drinks the Apple flavored Kool-aid.
- This is why Microsoft is winning and why Android is killing them. Apple won't last another 10 years, guaranteed.monospaced

Honest rant. All I want, when I plug something into my Mac, is for a pop up notification to tell me it was connected. On my PC this happens every time, no matter what, whether it's a mouse or a keyboard or a hard drive, I get a pop-up letting me know it's been plugged in and the hardware is good to go. But, for SOME reason the retards at Apple can't even implement this simple function. When I plug in a mouse on my Mac I have no idea it's working because there's no pop up for me to confirm and click-to-close. It's 2012, FFS.
- historical anti-apple moment - it must be a trickfadein11
- dude, fadein11, fuck off, this is the rant on Apple thread, so if you have nothing mean to say, don't say anythingmonospaced
- hahaha x2jaylarson
- GeorgesII0
what is your argument?
because you have no need for an essential function other os have, it's stupid? do you know what I use my computer for or what are my daily need,
I'm trully starting to despise the apple fanboy base, not because they seem to agree with everything apple does, but because they are anti technology,
if they don't use it, then no one else have a use for it,what is so awesomely advanced to have a single file delete from trash, is it so fuckn futuristic?
- I NEVER SAID THAT! I never said it was stupid I never insulted you NOTHING. GIve it up.monospaced
- All I did was agree with you. I HATE APPLE. They SUCK everything they do is SHIT.monospaced
- I never even HEARD of that awesome function and I can add it to the list of Apple's ultimate failures.monospaced
- GeorgesII0
yo bro, I really don't need you to agree with me, I don't care is apple sucks or take it up the ass,
they are people here who actually have to work cross platform and I asked a simple question,
it is you that is failing to troll this thread and only ending up looking like a fanboy- All I said is that I never thought of wanting the function. That's it dude. I never even knew about it. Sorry?monospaced
- Go back to my amazing suggestion it will make you smooth and creamy once more.chossy
- I may have been agreeing with you but then you insulted me instead of finding out. Ever think of that?monospaced
- chossy0
Monospaced making sense and agreeing with someone, said no-body ever.
- I never even argued with him. I was, in fact, simply unaware of the missing function and that's ALL I said.monospaced
- NOt sure why you're all jumping on me. I didn't even defend Apple.monospaced
- because you are incredibly combative, you seem to be deliberately obtuse in almost every discussion.chossy
- but I didn't defend Apple...monospaced
- and there ARE people in this thread who are and you ignored themmonospaced
- dopepope0
They should at least have a trash can inside the trash can, so you can fill that up with things that need to get trashed from the trash.
- mekk0
- GeorgesII0
yeah, apparently I insulted you,
you must defend your honor,
someone get me my dueling guns
//S
where did I insult you again?- you implied itmonospaced
- ... remember?monospaced
- And anyway, I never argued with you. I just said I never even thought of wanting the function. I wasn't aware of it.monospaced
- I was agreeing with you but you called me a fanboy and creepy and implied I was stupidmonospaced
- may I say you sound quite juvenile?GeorgesII
- I don't understand. I never argued. I didn't get fanboy. I ONLY said I didn't know. Jesus.monospaced
- Juvenile would be to start a thread about it. I didn't stoop that low.monospaced
- I started this thread because I need an answer, instead of giving it, you just went on your famous apple mono rantsGeorgesII
- I did? ALL I SAID was that I wasn't aware. The ONLY rant I made was against OS X. That's it.monospaced
- GeorgesII0
I am sorry,
I will never ever compare my OSes and see what is good on one, what is not so great on another and what could be ported on all systems to make them better,I would like to honestly present you my most sincere apologies,
I will never imply you're a fanboy, ok,
are we cool? no hate?- look, I was agreeing with you originall... call me what you want but don't jump to conclusionsmonospaced
- bulletfactory was the one defending Apple, the one arguing with you, the one condescending you, not memonospaced
- sorryGeorgesII

Use a "Pretrash" folder outside the trash folder. Pretrash files are selectively deleted (moved to Trash) every couple of months; the Trash folder can be dumped any time.

GeorgesII, storing all his important documents in the trash

Let's talk about how the Apple logo insults Jesus:
- hahaha, that's exactly what the logo is meant to represent, toomonospaced

Just make a porn folder on your usb drive like every other hot blooded male and stfu
- dopepope0
I actually think its dumb that you can't do what George is asking for. It seems such a simple thing. But I just never got the idea of keeping the trash bin full in case you need that file later. Why put it in the trash in the first place if there's even a slight possibility?
- +1ShaneHolley
- The trash was designed for things with a slight possibilityribit
- No it's not, it's designed as a place to put your files to delete. Not things you might delete.animatedgif
- The reason it keeps them is for the 0.01% chance you'll want the file back before you reach a full diskanimatedgif

Is this the OS X Rant of the day page or something? If it is, I'd just like to say I'm getting bored of OS X with all it's plain, boring static icons, tedious desktop finder and the way sometimes it'll connect to stuff, yet sometimes it won't. I know Windows drives me up the all for different reasons though. First world problems, or whatever. You know how it is? Right?
