To delete a single item in your trash, you can just select the item in you wish to delete and press cmd + delete

^ fuck, that command actually recovers the item. nvrmnd.
- pressing command + delete while in the trash to recover an item.... makes sense. :/bulletfactory

command delete just sends an item to the Trash, so doing it to an item already there just creates a duplicate it seems

My biggest OSX peeve is apps popping in front of one another.
Say I'm in InDesign and want to open a PSD file to edit. I go back to InDesign to continue working while Photoshop boots up and before you know it, the stupid startup screen blocks my work and interrupts again (despite switching back to InDesign) when the file opens. Anyone else experience this and know a way to stop it?
- Command-Tab is your friend.monospaced
- That's what I use. Still jumps in front. It's annoying.Gucci

I only put stuff in the trash that I want deleted.
If you're not sure about a file create a Junk folder on your desktop and drop it in there. Then you can delete it as you please and not have to worry about the other files you're 'storing' in the trash
